22/10/23 - Autumn Colours Workshop

Service Description

A day in the Lake District with professional Landscape Photographer Tom Watkinson. We will meet at dawn to catch the first light with hopefully some morning mist which autumn is very much prone to. We will work our way across a number of locations such as Holme Fell, Tom Heights, Loughrigg Fell and others in the heart of the Lake District. On location I will guide you through settings, composition, light, subjects, choice of lens and other elements in order to take compelling landscape images. The group size is limited to 5 persons to ensure each participant has appropriate time with tutoring. The workshop will last a total of approximately 7 hours You will need to book your own accommodation as required to suit the early start. I would recommend either Ambleside or Windermere as we will be based this side of the Lake District. You will need your own transportation to get to the agreed meeting point (location provided the week before based on the weather). I will request 1 volunteer to assist in the very short drives between locations (you will be reimbursed with fuel cost) so that we only need to take 2 vehicles (one being mine).
